Meet Kate… 5 year old battling cancer.. We don’t know how cancer will affect her body… as a photographer I flew to Arizona and wanted to capture Kate’s personality, to create memories for Kate’s family that they can pass from generation to generation.. I am trying to reach more families with stories similar of Kate’s and be able to create some professional pictures of this kids… The families have so much going on that’s the last thing they have on their mind.. .But what an amazing gift that is to them.. If this is something you would like to be part of visit www.ohsoposhphotography.com/blog about the non profit foundation I am starting to be able to do this for more families… Hope starts with one person and that person can be you.. Please email the video to friends and family maybe they can help…

David Cook w/Tommy McFLY RUN for HOPE in DC MiX107.3

September 4th, 2010

I’m sure you heard the horrible news that David Cook’s brother passed away from Brain Cancer over the weekend the day before David was to attend one of the largest events for Brain Tumor Research in Washington DC. I was there, and David told me the news just before going onstage and announcing to the world. Here’s the AMAZING back story. David had a show in Florida the night before, hopped on a plane around midnight, arrived in DC about 3A, he went to some hotel for a few hours, RAN the 5k in 28 minutes, hung out with fans and inspired survivors, then hit the air again to play in Georgia that night – the whole time with the news of his brother so fresh in his mind. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! He handled the day like a total pro and could have SO easily canceled, but didn’t. What a quality human!

The former have been a great support to my best friend (Lee Jones) who has been diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer. A bunch of friends from work (the DX Group) also took part and between us we have raised over £3000 :)
