Here Laura creates a cracker recipe using dulse, walnuts, buckwheat sprouts, hemp seed and vegetables. These crackers can be made into a bread as well as a crispy cracker snack. Instructions from ingredients, dehydrating and scoring to finished product. ~Since adapting the raw food lifestyle 4 months ago, Laura has released 29 pounds. Currently she is 90% raw and still in transition. A medical diagnosis of severe anemia and leukemia prompted the change from a vegetarian diet to a raw food vegan lifestyle. Laura has experienced immense improvement in lab/blood tests as well as in her energy and overall health since switching to raw foods.~

Powerless to help her grandfather fight cancer and her fiancé combat a life-threatening bacterial infection, Gertrude “Trudy” Elion wanted to give all she could to help save the lives of others. Despite her family’s poor financial situation and the limited options for women in science at that time, Elion pursued a career in chemistry and research, developing cures for deadly diseases like cancer and leukemia. In 1997, Elion was honored with the Lemelson-MIT Lifetime Achievement Award.

webhatchlings.com July 1, 2006 will always be remembered as a low point in our lives. Adelaine was Diagnosed with ALL Leukemia at the age of 2. She was declared in remission – cancer free within a couple days. We know God took cancer away from her less than 24 hours after diagnosis. The real battle was the nearly 2 ½ year treatment protocol of Chemotherapy, steroids and every other medicine with life threatening side effects. During her treatment, we met some incredible people going through similar battles with their children. We were introduced to some AMAZING organizations and we also became unbelievably health conscious. I threw this video together to say goodbye to treatment forever. 2009 is already a great year for us. No More CHEMO!!!

On March 28th 2009, at the Baja Cantina in Marina Del Rey, California Jen Hill put on a charitable fund raiser for the National Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. At this event she had her head shaved to raise both donations and awareness… as well as honor Tyler Cordova, a 6 year old boy with cancer.
