August 1994. Alan and Monica talk while she’s in the recovery room. They talk about how they’re still together after everything they’ve done to each other. Alan tells her that he regrets all the bad things he’s done to her and uses it as an opportunity to convince Bobbie that she needs to fix things with Tony. Alan says the same to Tony but neither are listening. Later, Monica wakes up and tells Alan about a nightmare where she dies and can’t reach him. Jason goes to Ward House to tell Keesha about the family crisis. Keesha suggests that Jason blow off some steam by playing tennis with her. Background: ELQ and the people on Charles Street (this includes the Spencers and the Wards) are fighting against each other regarding ELQ’s plan to put an incinerator in the area. Jason, Alan and Monica are against it and siding with the Wards. Edward, Ned, AJ and Damian Smith are on the other side. Neither Mary Mae nor Edward approve of Jason and Keesha’s relationship for reasons that come out later.
